I once watched a brick wall get built in a place where the wind blew constantly.
The wall was to shelter pedestrians from this wind.
The first building effort blew down in a matter of days.
The second contractor made the wall twice as thick, but being 7 feet tall, the two coarse brick solution also blew down within weeks of completion.
The successful brick layer, skipped every fifth brick or so leaving a hole so some wind could pass through the wall, creating a lace like brick wall.
Since then I have always tried to make sure the subject contradicts the nature of the materials enough to marry them and launch the object.
